It is time for America to Repent of the sin of abortion

How much longer, O Lord, will you hold your wrath from us. As a people, we are guilty of so many sins. The greatest of which is the murder of millions of your little ones. We have, under the guise of "reproductive rights" and "freedom of choice", equated innocent human life with the trash we dispose of every day. Oh, some would wish that we would "recycle" that "trash" with embryonic stem-cell research, but "trash" it is still. Lord, there are still seeds of the remnant which are trying to turn America back to you, but there is so much apathy. How many "middle of the road" people walk through life without even thinking of the evil that is taking place on a daily basis. How much worse can it get? Here in Maine we even have a case of two parents kidnapping their daughter to force her to have an abortion. According to the lawyer, the parents "can't believe how this turned out". The parents are so backwards that they don't think that they committed a crime. According to their lawyer "All they've done is love this girl and try to support her, although she has had multiple problems." The multiple problems in this case, however are the parents, themselves. They, in the name of love(?), kidnapped their daughter in order that she kill her unborn baby. Abortion advocates will condemn the kidnapping part, but they will argue that all baby killing procedures should be available in Maine. Lord, I know that the solution to this problem can only be found in you, Jesus Christ. I pray, Father, that the people of Maine, and the people of America will turn to you, and turn away from the world, and the sin of abortion. Without you, Jesus, the world is doomed to an eternal reward of hell and death. I pray that the Christians, not only in Maine, but in all the world, will double their efforts to bring people to Christ. Lord, please energize the docile element of our faith to get off the couch and win the lost to you. Energize me that I will lead my family to be "fishers of men". For it is only with you, Lord Jesus, that salvation can be found, and we know that if we turn to you, you will heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Lord, I thank you for all the blessings you have given my family and all of America.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen
